St. George's Church in Flushing, Queens is pleased to announce the launch of its new Artist Residency Program with Altered States - Art and Faith, an exhibition exploring the concept of faith and the role it plays within contemporary society.

Altered States brings together works by a diverse group of international artists and seeks to encourage dialogue on our changing responses to accepted notions of spirituality and faith.The show takes place in the newly created Francis Lewis Gallery within St. George's, providing a powerful and relevant context for the challenge that many of the included works represent.
