The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival is a long running and highly competitive juried art festival that attracts 140 artists many local and some from as far as Hawaii and New York. Thousands of art lovers come from all over the Bay Area to this beloved festival to stroll through the Park and discover treasures under the Redwood trees: sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, woodwork - over 15 media categories that are sure to appeal to all artistic tastes.  The Festival represents the finest collection of arts and crafts in the country to view and purchase and is rated one of the top 10 fine arts and craft shows in the Northwest.

The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival always features two full days of fine musical entertainment, children’s activities and fantastic food benefiting other local non-profits. Enjoy a perfect day of art music and nature in Old Mill Park.

The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival is unique in that it is by a volunteer committee of local artists! These committed volunteers have given the Bay Area community a spectacular festival to enjoy for 55 years.  Any surplus funds from this non-profit Festival go right back to the community. The committee is very excited to fund  the Emerging Artist Award granted to two High School art students per year.
