Melinda Smith Atlsthuler's works are elegant structures that capture light and memory. From the translucent drawings in her Victorian Photograph album to the ghostly images of homes steeped into porous teabag paper, she uses semi-opaque and translucent membranes to diffuse or focus the light that animates her work. As part of her debut at Bandini Smith Altshuler will create a site specific floor to ceiling installation of forms webs and membranes.
