Candidate Mason's Inaugural Farewell Platform-
The eighteen-thirty brigade marshals you and fellow comrades on a journey into the entire candidacy of Candidate Mason. Through the tenure of roles Mason performed while presiding in the most prestigious office of the eighteen-thirty compound, Mason is:
Noriega. Xiopeng. Dudayev. Hussein. Carter.
Part of a weeklong series throughout Los Angeles, Candidate Mason will wrap up her campaign with an evening of addresses- Inaugural and Farewell.
A song cycle of heroic acts, tragic defeats, and vigilant vindications, Mason will be performing an opera-inspired series of songs from her new album, The Ambassadors II. Candidate Mason will take the oath of public service as the leaders of China, Chechnya, Iraq, Panama and the U.S.
Rachel Mason is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York, best known for sculptures, music and performance in which she attempts to enact historic political figures through songs.
Candidates Mason’s campaign is in conjunction with her current showing at Circus Gallery (www.circus-gallery.com) and encore performance at JMOCA ON Feb 1st (www.jmoca.info).
