This art show was a great success!! The art, the music, the performances, and the crowd. Al Borde had the right combination of alternative media. Impressionable artworks by artists/(like, Amparo Ochoa, Efren Luna[I got a lot of praise for my piece "Reflections" Watercolor painting], Rick Rodriguez CONCHITA and CHATISMO to name a few).

Artist Rick Rodriguez works where great especially (untitled) any time anywhere. 4'x5'. This work expresses struggles of inner city citizens and police in the urban circle..the all watching force...make you feel like asking, "who is watching the police?"

Amparo Ochoa's work a self portrait image expresses the passionate side of humans falling in love, a vulnerable felling,...the image of a heart, freshly cut our human heart, in the makeup station along with other objects like a shotgun and an empty bottle of tequila her image being reflected from a mirror. This is a powerful painting. It seemed to tell a story of the character having killed her deceiver or heart breaker...a chilling emotion came to me as it made me think that the painting was talking about a passionate crime.......many more can be said or argued about this work....

The daunting task of hanging artworks with fish like wire was admirable[due to the location being historic place El Gallo Plaza]

The Music 2 bands Mad Marionettes and Helios Jive. The first on stage left many impressed and very satisfied with their performance." Mad Marionettes The "Mad Marionettes" are always experimenting with their approach to music, resulting in a cacophony of sounds that by themselves could result in atrocious calamities, but together they magically work together. It's the fusion of genres and unexpected styles that make this band sound so fresh." according to Al Borde Magazine - Marionettes Review.

Helios Jive was great too gave a great performance.

This show reminded me of  "Set In Motion" at Basswerks Gallery in LA, a group show I curated  except that I didn't have the big sponsors that Al Borde was able to bring. "Set In Motion" was a great success in a similar and different way.....I really enjoyed being part of "Vision Dinamica" artshow curated by CHATISMO. Thanks Al Borde for supporting the arts and giving opportunity for artists exposure.
