Carolina Garcia Jayaram
CEO, United States Artists, Chicago, IL

Carolina Garcia Jayaram joined United States Artists as President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2014. Prior to USA, she served as Executive Director of the Chicago Artists Coalition for four years where she revitalized the 40-year- old organization into a vital resource whose mission is to build a sustainable marketplace for entrepreneurial artists and creatives. By capitalizing on the intersection of art and enterprise, she has created collaborative partnerships for CAC and other organizations, and has developed innovative opportunities for Chicago's artist community. Her work has earned her the honor of being chosen by The Chicago Tribune as a "Chicagoan of the Year in Arts" for 2013. Before joining CAC, Ms. Jayaram was the founder and Executive Director of Cannonball in Miami, Florida, which manages a live/work residency in the Wynwood Arts District for eight national and international artists and curators. Prior to working in Miami, she worked at PEN American Center in New York City, the nation's preeminent association of writers, editors and translators. Ms. Jayaram served on the 2012 Chicago Cultural Plan Advisory Committee, and serves on the Cannonball board of directors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the New School University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a H.O.P.E. Award recipient and a Miami Fellows Initiative Fellow.

Raz Shapira- Fainburg
Artist's Manager and Curator, Tel Aviv, Israel

Raz Shapira-Fainburg is an artist representative, studio & project manager for the Israeli based artists Know Hope and the Broken Fingaz Crew as well as the assistant curator and project manager at Fresh Paint contemporary art fair for art and design, Tel Aviv. Her practice involves working closely with young, independent artists at the forefront of urban and contemporary art in Israel. As part of her role as an assistant curator at Fresh Paint art fair, Raz is the director of the fair's "artists greenhouse" a unique initiative which showcases the work of selected independent Israeli artists. She is closely supervising the artist's selection process and curating the annual art fair's exhibition.

Summer Guthery
Curator, Writer, NY and LA

Summer Guthery is a curator and writer based in NYC and Los Angeles. She is currently a curator with LAXART and recently a curator with Performa13 Biennial. She also held the 2013-14 Curator-in-Residence position at Disjecta in Portland, Oregon. Guthery holds a Masters degree from Bard College's Center for Curatorial Study. Recent projects include performances and exhibitions with Ieva Miseviciute, Shana Lutker, Bryan Zanisnik, Nancy Lupo, Kathryn Andrews, Matthew Lutz Kinoy and Michael Portnoy. In 2010 she founded The Chrysler Series and The Canal Series, an independent program of artist projects featuring Dexter Sinister, Keren Cytter, Liz Magic Laser, WIll Holder, Michael Portnoy, Deville Cohen, John Smith and Thom Anderson among others. Other curatorial projects have been shown at Artists Space, LAXART, the Hessel Museum, the Time Based Art Festival, U-Turn Quadrennial, Pierogi Gallery and Vox Populi among many others. Her writing has been featured in ArtForum, Frieze, Art Review, Pastellegram, NY Arts and Performa Magazine among other publications.
