June 7th - June 7th

5/25/09
Lisa Lightman is a San Francisco-based artist whose intricate, mixed-media collages and paintings employ a deeply personal and singular language that reflects her ongoing engagement with the subconscious. Lightman refers to her constructions as "states of mind" and they are the result on an ongoing, iterative process that involves a building up and breaking down of the surface. The processes of drawing, painting, rubbing, scratching, layering, and excavating are clearly evident and speak not... [more]

Simple Pleasures

Jeff Jamieson at David Patton Los Angeles
April 25th - May 30th
