Regina Valluzzi

Since I was a teenager, on of my favorite pieces of music has been Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring (Le Sacre Du Printemps). The first time I ever heard it, and every time since, I saw deep swirling foreboding red dark background. The rhythms of the piece emerged as vivid geometries from that roiling, yet somehow graceful backdrop. Something like this.
