Behind the all-American interjection "Boy, Oh Boy!" there are many implications. Generally it is used as an expression of shock, surprise, pleasure, or excitement. The Oxford English Dictionary first lists it in 1917 as a derivation of "Boy!" or "Oh, boy." A more recent though not quite similar variant being "Man, oh Man!"

Within these expressions and their definitions are the seeds and parameters of this summer group show at Fredric Snitzer Gallery in Miami. The exhibition explores a macho/male positioning as seen through a broad spectrum of perspective that ranges from macho man swagger, gay man, woman, to childhood and boy/girl relationships. Participating will be the following artists, some are not know for exploring the thematic framework of the exhibition.

Endre Aalrust | Zack Balber | Hernan Bas | Timothy Buwalda | Alex Flemming | Francie Bishop Good | Christian Holstad | Natalya Laskis | Maria Martinez-Canas | Jonathan Meese | Sabelo Mlangeni | Rashaad Newsome | Paul P | Michael Vazquez | Bert Rodriguez | Christian Schoeler | Dash Snow | Diego Singh | James Everett Stanley | Alex Sweet | Kehinde Wiley
