He refers just as easily to French philosopher Charles Fourier (1772-1837) as he does to hip hop star Jay-Z. Hello, again! Wow, the time passes fast!

The Secession Building in Vienna is so iconic, that though it doesn't have permanent collections, except for Beethoven Frieze by Gustav Klimt, I feel that I am compelled to include it in the series of My Favorite Museum Collections. The Sammer Gallery just opened its doors in the Lower East Side with a particularly impressive solo show “Wheels and Cylinders” by Uruguayan artist Ricardo Pascale, born in 1942.

In October 2013, Joanna Kamm hosted the Karl Larsson exhibition Twelve Hours at her Berlin-Mitte gallery, Galerie Kamm. In 2014, a metaphorical twelve months later, the title has appeared in the gallery once again, playing host to a familiar roster of works save for select new additions. One such alteration is a shallow scratch in the plaster wall at the gallery’s entrance. The gash, Form Was Not Born From An Idea, It Was An Idea Vanishing, sets the tone for this re-visitation.

Wow! I just got word today that my Lonely Girls have been included in Ceramics Now! Thanks to the editor/publisher Vasi Hirdo, they will now reside prominently on the home page of the site for a time. I am glad this project is getting some attention. Alzheimer's disease is horrendous and especially when the majority of those afflicted with it are our elderly.
