On my first trip to the reservation Pine Ridge, I went to Red Cloud Indian School.  There was an exhibit of contemporary Art by Native Americans. There was also a Catholic Church and a cemetary.  Chief Red Cloud school bosts a high degree of students who go on to college.  It is a beacon.  They sell many handmade crafts too.  I love the quill work.  I also went to some lectures given by a man married to Red Cloud's great grand daughter.  I'm sure Red Cloud's "generations" will continue to prosper.
