Modern Art Oxford

Founded in 1965, Modern Art Oxford is a visual art gallery devoted to presenting exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. We have a national and international reputation for the quality of our exhibitions and accompanying community and education programme. Funded primarily by Arts Council England, all of our exhibitions and many of our events, activities and workshops are free for visitors.

Modern Art Oxford’s exhibition programme is devised by the curatorial team and is planned up to two years in advance, with exhibitions and projects arising from direct invitations to artists. We are rarely able to accommodate unsolicited proposals for exhibitions.
