Beers Contemporary is an art gallery in London, England with a program dedicated to maintaining the exploration and dissemination of relevant issues addressed through progressive contemporary art.
Since its inception in 2008, Beers Contemporary has worked with emerging and established artists internationally to explore and establish exciting paths and trends in contemporary art. Today, the exhibition programme includes a diverse array of thematic, aesthetic, and political concepts, predominating an exciting approach to work that is both progressive and thought-provoking. Through continued collaboration with artists, organizations, and figures in the arts, our goal is to continue to celebrate, share, and exhibit contemporary art worldwide.
In 2012, Beers Contemporary announces a collaboration with Thames & Hudson, the UK's leading fine-art publisher: a publication entitled 100 Painters of Tomorrow. Other collaborative ventures include a documentary with Channel4, exhibitions with London Institute of Philosophy, University of Kent, City University London, RARE Gallery NYC, and a multidisciplinary programme including art-fairs, book-launches, and special events.
