Launched in 2007 by Alexander Dellal, 20 Hoxton Square Projects is a collaborative project space, operating as a platform for emerging contemporary artists, whilst also acting as a creative hub for independent projects.
We envisioned a space that would equal that of established institutions in order to raise the platform to a level that was familiar to the industry and the institutions as well as impact and inspire the young artists and collectors alike. The Project space operates uniquely in developing our exhibits into experiences by having studios for resident artists, a bookshop, arts newspaper and social spaces within the property, offering a level of transparency into the growth and progression of our exhibitions. Since its inception, the gallery has focused on producing collaborative projects with established artists, galleries, and guest curators, with the fundamental intention of supporting emerging artists.
As a project space, we are not limited to using our facilities purely as exhibition space. Between events and throughout the calendar our program includes screenings, artist talks, and performances.
