> DESCRIPTION

Narrative Remains is a developmental arts project exploring how the stories of historical patients can be re-located and spoken anew within a contemporary context. Karen Ingham’s film and site-specific installation is provoked by the stories behind some of surgeon-anatomist John Hunter’s anatomical specimens - stories that have, over time, been lost from sight. Narrative Remains is funded by the Wellcome Trust Arts Awards.
