On Saturdays the Serpentine Gallery hosts talks and seminars for the public. This spring prominent artists, writers, curators and academics discuss themes connected to the Hans-Peter Feldmann exhibition.

Clive Phillpot is a freelance writer, curator and former art librarian. He was Director of the Library, Museum of Modern Art, New York (1977--1994), and Librarian at the Chelsea School of Art (1970--1977. He is Board Member & President of Printed Matter, New York; Board Member of Franklin Furnace, New York and President of the Art Libraries Society of North America. Recent books and exhibitions authored, co-edited and co-curated include: Nobody Nose, Amsterdam (2011); Voids: A Retrospective, Paris & Bern (2009); Outside Of A Dog, Gateshead (2003); Live In Your Head, London (2000) & Lisbon (2001); Artist/Author: Contemporary Artists' Books, US tour (1998/99) and Fluxus: Selections from the Silverman Collection, New York (1988). Phillpot is also a contributor to the publications In Numbers: Serial Publications by Artists Since 1955 (New York: JRP Ringier, 2009); Ray Johnson : Please Add To And Return (London: Raven Row, 2009); The Royal Road to the Unconscious (London: Freud Museum, 2004) and Ulises Carrion: Quant Aux Livres/On Books (Geneva: Héros/Limite, 1997). Film appearances include: How to Draw A Bunny, dir. John W. Walter, 2002 (DVD, 2004).
