During the exhibition - amplifier (part two) - playpaint presents an evening of films by Sean Reynard.
Spanning 11 years, a selection of 13 films made in London, Sydney and Berlin, will include: Anaphylaxis - The tragic story of a man who against his health persists in consuming nuts due to his overwhelming fascination with keen vegetarian and nut promoter Kate Bush; Kitchen Sink Opera - A cyclical portrayal of Reynard having a stream of bad luck, from the minute he wakes up until his last breath; and A Veritable Logorrhea, in which two 18th century aristocrats make their obligatory annual perambulation around the palace grounds of Mr Liptrott. After enduring a tirade of indulgent ranting from Liptrott, Mr Dewsnip breaks his silence and thrusts forthright with emphatic merriment as he witnesses the perfect spot to undertake his portrait of the ungracious Liptrott.
Screened in an abandoned restaurant in a condemned seventies shopping arcade south of Blackfriars bridge, the programme will begin at 8pm and last an hour and a half with an intermission.
