Decalcomania is a project realised by collaboration and friendship. The curators, Maria Christoforidou and Laura Smith, invited two artists each, who then invited another two artists each, as an experiment in non-hierarchical curatorial practice.

The twelve participating artists now present film, painting, sculpture, audio and installation. Showcasing the common threads that have filtered through the invited group via a lace of connections and negotiations.

Throughout the exhibition’s duration Decalcomania artists will also lead events that invite local artists, musicians, collectives and communities to actively participate in collaboratory workshops, talks, performances and film screenings.
