Exhibition by studios members of Cor Blimey Arts in Deptford, selected by Silvia Battista. The exhibition reflects a diversity of artworks which through its often complex creation, is infused with significance. The series of works we address as artists as we craft our work is never simple and draws on a multitude of external factors as we play with ideas of truth and meaning, the seen and unseen.
‘The Truth is Rarely Pure and Never Simple’
There’s a lot going on at the moment down at the ‘Yarts’, in fact, we are up to our eyeballs in it. With the imminent launch of our very own exclusive ‘Core Gallery’ and shows coming up as far a field as Brighton and many other exciting things, we thought we’d throw something else in the mix just to keep us on our toes.
We are having a group show of work, right there in the shadow of the Tate Modern… (But not quite in there…yet) but at the celebrated Nolia’s Gallery in Great Suffolk Street. We would love to invite you to our private view on the 22nd of April from 6pm to 9pm. Come see for yourself how the beautiful Art of SE8 fits so snugly in the beautiful surroundings of SE1.
