Application deadline: 05 April 2013 at midnight
This is a great opportunity to develop your career in one of the world’s leading art galleries. You’ll be part of a busy, in-house studio supporting all four Tate galleries [not to mention our Enterprise and Catering operations] as the very first Design Studio Assistant, so there will be lots to challenge and interest you – and the chance to make this role your own.
We’ll look to you to provide first class administrative support to help deliver a high volume of printed and digital material for a wide range of departments. This could involve anything from co-ordinating work plans, obtaining print quotes and completing purchase orders to approving invoices, sending artwork to production and ensuring safe delivery to clients. You should also be prepared to turn your hand to a variety of general tasks such as ordering stationery, arranging meetings and preparing correspondence.
It follows that we need a flexible, highly organised person with all-round administrative experience, an understanding of print and design processes and excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll thrive on the buzz of delivering a high output of projects to demanding deadlines without losing your attention to detail. We’ll also expect you to be self-motivated, proactive and IT literate.
