"Orbit of Gold" exemplifies the quest for value in one's life.  Gold being associated with riches, and in this respect, the riches and wealth of character.  Admirable character was once the foundation of an individual's construction of his/her reputation.  This character was the core of an individuals relationship with others, and one strived to maintain this character for life.  Somehow, the pride in possessing an admirable character has waned.  As a complex society which exhibits constant strife, it is apparent we should again stress the importance of developing character...  that character encompassing understanding and tolerance, among other admirable traits.
