This is a private rendition of field of grass behind a stone wall. I took photographs of the scene and cut the photographs into shapes that fit the composition, then drew on the photographs to patternize them, then applied them to the surface. I found a really inspiring piece of corrugated cardboard that reminded me of the stone wall at the scene. This is an emotionally fruaght scene for me, because I had a very powerful experience when I saw Van Gogh's original in person, because of what this painting has meant at times thorugh my life, and because of what it means now. Though this scene I am attempting to transcend. This is a realistic rendition, with real pieces of grass attached.
