Orbits is a continuation of a series of experiments using marker drawings in saturated layers on the reversed side of the paper.  As the layers of marker bleed through the back of the drawing and interact, the color areas on the drawing side are softened, and the overlayed colors and behavior of the pigments and dyes creates sharp edges of color, on a similar scale to the line traceries in the ink portion of the drawing.
