Shadows In Red
This photo is part of Cloudhead's Wichi/H20 project. We bring donated digital cameras to Hickmann, a small Wichi village in NW Argentina, and put them in the hands of the children there. The children take photos. Cloudhead sells them, and all profits go to build a community garden and develop clean drinking water for the children's village.
This photo tells a lot about the daily life of children in Hickmann. His clothes are hand me down, unmatched and a bit too big. You can see the bricks, mud and sticks used to build their buildings. The sun is shining. It's usually hot in Hickmann, especially in summer, but not too hot yet.
Soon the rains will start and with it the mosquitos.
