Nye + Brown

Nye + Brown is the brainchild of Tim Nye and Lexi Brown.  Brown, the proprietor of the prescient gallery in Los Angeles' Chinatown, The Happy Lion, and Nye, curator and owner of Nyehaus in NY, opened their 4000 square foot gallery in the heart of the Culver City arts district in 2011. 

The gallery will present several ambitiously curated shows per year, continuing Nye's focus on Los Angeles artists from the 1960s, as well as the fresh blood that Happy Lion has become known for in the past. This innovative cross-generational approach seeks to re-position artists within fresh aesthetic, architectural and art historical contexts.
