The Hi-Lite was started by Sam Moyer in the Spring of 2010 and is currently run by Sam Moyer and Billy Kheel.
The Hi-Lite is a project and studio space in Downtown Los Angeles dedicated to fostering a community of art by providing workspace for creative people and exhibition space for installations, performances and projects. The name "The Hi-Lite" was initially derived from the excess light that pours into the space from the Toy District loft windows, but also references the idea of illuminating art projects and performances through a program of monthly events.
We host events and opening receptions. We encourage visitors to contact us for an appointment.
