COMMUNITY: Join us in this gathering of people who want to learn, share, find support for, act on and engage in dialog about: art for social change, art and social responsibility, strategies for community engagement and social change through the arts, context-based and collaborative artistic practices, presentations by visiting artists, activists and civic leaders, self-empowerment strategies for artists and their communities, alternative or minority histories and practices outside institutional and mainstream venues. This is the second in a series of monthly gatherings throughout the school year. The forum is open to all interested CalArts students, alumni, faculty and staff.
