The Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design is pleased to present the group exhibition:
The Story of O: Graduate Fine Arts 1989 -2009 / April 10 – June 5, 2010
Opening Reception: Saturday, April 10, 4-6pm

The Story of O: Graduate Fine Arts 1989 -2009 opens Saturday, April 10, 4-6pm at the Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art and Design located at 9045 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045 and is on view through June 5, 2010. This large group show features new work by alumni who attended Otis College of Art and Design’s distinguished Graduate Fine Arts program between 1989 and 2009 and studied under the leadership of artist and Chair Roy Dowell. Dowell took over the MFA program during the 1989/1990 academic year and for twenty years has nurtured the talents of students who have gone on to exhibit nationally and abroad, and work as artists in many fields. The selection of alumni included in the exhibition is based on studio visits and a final review by jurors Roy Dowell; Meg Linton, Director of Galleries and Exhibitions at OTIS Ben Maltz Gallery; Sarah C. Bancroft, Curator, Orange County Museum of Art; Dr. Nizan Shaked (’00), Assistant Professor of Contemporary Art History, Museum and Curatorial Studies at California State University, Long Beach; and Annetta Kapon (’85), Artist and Assistant Chair, OTIS Graduate Fine Arts.
