Playing their first show in more than two years, Oscar Santos and Michael G. Bauer will reunite with Tom Holmes for an auditory explosion of bassy-synth-trancey-pop, back beat, and tin can vocals. VOY began as the product of nights in the hollow white halls of UCLA art buildings, and over the years they’ve evolved via the magic of the internet and chance meetings in various cities into a bicoastal collaboration between three artists, picture-makers and lovers of sound in harmony. Described as “a perfect balance of earnestness, charm, and absurdity”, VOY makes music likened to a “year’s worth of Fresh Air with Terry Gross episodes”.
