Three large sculptural “paintings” demonstrate the beauty and fragility of living coral reefs. Created from tens of thousands of pieces of painted pasta and other materials, these gorgeously colored installations are Steven’s continuing research into altering visual perceptions.
Perhaps also offers contemplation of current domestic issues, including “Cheney 2012?”, “Queen Michelle/Queen Condi” and “Formerly Blackwater;” while Lymphoma” addresses a very personal issue.
