Inscribing Meaning demonstrates how artists in Africa, from ancient to contemporary times, have used language, words, and symbols to create works of beauty, empowerment, history, identity, and social values. Curators Polly Roberts and Chirstine Kreamer engage three artists featured in the exhibition, Victor Ekpuk, Wosene Kosrof and Sue WIlliamson, in conversations exploring their work and the thematic underpinnings of this groundbreaking exhibition.
