·          The Conference Room is proud to be presenting works by Gale Hart

·          “Giving voice to silent suffering, the work by Gale reminds us that many of the ways in which humans treat animals are acceptable only because they are hidden from view.  From the Factory farm to the testing laboratory, the circus to the fur farm, we avoid the reality of the pain and suffering we inflict on animals-and as a consequence we avoid our responsibility for this violence.  Avoid confronting our moral choices.”  Michelle Thew CEO Animal Protection Institute

·          We are pleased to be presenting Gale Hart let alone having new works created specifically for her Solo Southern California exhibition.  Finding the time for her to create new work is unheard of if you know Gales hectic workload.  She has her own gallery in Downtown Sacramento which exhibits her work along with other local artists.  Many of the works on display at "A Bitchin' Space Gallery" are collaborations between one or three artists to create a specific piece.  Beisdes the full time aspect of the gallery she also creates these flawless industrial sculptures.
Gale was just voted Best Visual Artist by Sacramento News & Review 10/07

·          Gale works in a multitude of mediums, mixing and matching to create sometimes enormous canvases twelve feet long or casts metal and clay to create sculpture works.

·          On display will be ew paintings, sculpture, metal works and an installation piece

·          Her metal works have been collected heavily in the last few years, causing Gale to contemplate creating an entirely complimentary business making iron/metal work furniture.

·          Artist Reception  SATURDAY October 20, 2007 7:00 – 10:00PM

·          Work to be exhibited in Meeting <1.2> will be on display until November 10th, 2007
