> DESCRIPTION

The critically acclaimed environmental friendly and art exhibit is not over yet!

Diane Meyer will host several public discussions scheduled throughout November and December in 18th Street’s main gallery. These community dialogues will be on various transit issues that all address this idea of a “car-less society.

The first event is called: Ride-ARC Ride

Hosted by Alex Amerri, designer, architect, board member of Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition

This event is a group bicycle ride which will serve as a discussion about the possibilities of going Car-less while living in the Los Angeles area while placing it in comparison to other major cities that are considered 'iconic' or 'posterchilds' for car-free advocates. This will involve aspects that affect our abilities to go carless, and much larger issues at hand which are tied in together: urban planning, our geography, the jobs we've created, and environment.
