Day of the Dead   Noun.   November 1 and November 2 collectively, celebrated concurrently with All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in Mexico and parts of Central America in commemoration of the dead. Also called Día de los Muertos.

Come celebrate the day of the dead with the artists at Topanga Canyon Gallery.  We invite you to honour your ancestors by bringing mementos to our reliquary.  Items may be presented during gallery hours beginning Oct 18th and will be on display until the  reception on Sat Oct 27th.  We encourage you to join us at the reception to share your memories and enjoy the themed artwork celebrating Dia de los Muertos. 

This show will be in conjunction with the Day of the Dead show at Abuelita’s Cocina.  View gallery members artwork at both locations from mid October thru the first week of November.

There will also be a raffle during the reception to win a $50 gift certificate toward a purchase of artwork at the gallery.  To enter the raffle leave your business cards at the bowls provided at both the gallery and Abuelita’s.  This is a great opportunity to buy artwork for the upcoming holidays!
