Rudy Perez Performance Ensemble premieres new work as a part of the Armory Center for the Arts’ 20th Anniversary Exhibition Installations Inside/Out Friday & Saturday, October 23 & 24, 2009
As part of the Armory 20th Anniversary exhibition, Open suite/WHOOSH … the traffic, choreographed by Rudy Perez, dedicated to Perez’s mentor Merce Cunningham, will be performed to an original live music score by Steve Moshier and The Liquid Skin Ensemble. Also on the program will be Surrender, Dorothy!, previously premiered on June 6th at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex, as part of A Tribute to Rudy Perez.
