Robert Weibel creates images by igniting gunpowder on paper and other surfaces.  Cai Guo-Qaing is the father of this unique process of creative artistic expression. 

 Using stencils and masks and a variety of gunpowders, Weibel has developed and refined image making with this dangerous process.  His gunpowder prints have been accepted into national juried exhibitions, and he is increasingly well recieved adding to collections from Portand to Tampa.

The exhibition at Gallery 25 in downtown Fresno will be his first solo show of this gunpowder work and will feature series on American Bison, delta smelt, and the human form.i
