> DESCRIPTION
New York artist and provocateur William Powhida and his infamous alter-ego (also ‘William Powhida’) are having their Los Angeles solo debut on October 24, 2009 @ the Charlie James Gallery in Chinatown. Powhida’s trademark anti-art world screeds, rendered as beautiful trompe l’oeil notebook pages and magazine articles, will now be directed at Los Angeles and the post-boom art world we all inhabit today.
A reception for the artist(s) will take place at the Charlie James Gallery on October 24 from 6-9pm.
