> DESCRIPTION

This is John Clendening’s second exhibition with TAG Gallery and features landscapes of California as well as his figurative work.  His acceptance into the California Art Club inspired the atmospheric coastal, mountains and vineyard landscapes of California, which make up most of this years exhibition.

Della Rolle continues her most recent sculptures of the human figure.  She experiments with different materials such as resin with marble power, bronze, stainless steel, aluminum and terra cotta. Humor and life experiences are influential in her sculptures.  Her Bronze pieces depict the depth of understanding of the human figure focusing on the structural framework. While she was doodling, a stunning abstract image emerged.  She took the image to the fabricator and had the image laser cut in aluminum, steel and stainless steel and the results are spectacular.

Susie McKay Krieser new acrylic paintings collage and oil drawings on paper are included in this new exhibition.  Susie’s interest in simplification through the use of bold colors shapes and layering of works, create a dialogue between the viewer and the subject.  This allows the viewer to interpret from one’s own experience and insight.  She uses photography and models in creating her are.  Her work has been influenced by her love of Matisse and Milton Avery.
