HAREM
Closing Party Sunday, Sept 2nd!

it's time to bid farewell to our luscious ladies' group show, which included new paintings on wood by Jimmy Bleyer with selected works by some of Jimmy's favorite female artists, including:

Annie Terrazzo, Catherine Brooks, Jenna Colby, Alie Ward, Carol Powell, Amy Shawley, Michele Waterman, Cat Ferraz, Michelle Perone, Tooter, Mary Spring, Kari Jewell and more!

and to give all of you who missed the dazzling opening another chance to experience one of the more seductive sides of our local underground art community, truXtop gallery is hosting an early afternoon "tea" to celebrate the closing of the popular HAREM show. and by "tea" we mean a full bar, an intoxicating belly dance performance by Kellsy ( myspace.com/kellsybelly), and ALL LIVE GIRL PAINTING! oh yeah!... come see a selection of artists from the show doing their thang right before your very eyes.

well, there's one last thing...truXtop gallery is happy to announce that we will be participating in the year's ART CRAWL X ! (so if X=ten, plus ART CRAWL, divided by truXtop's upcoming $99.95 GROUP SHOW, multiplied by hundreds of participating artists, it must equal radness!) we are currently looking for artists to submit some top notch work at rock bottom prices...let's make Earl Scheib proud! this year the ART CRAWL will be in october, with the drop off date being the first week of the month. no subject guidelines or themes per se, except we're looking for the best the underground art community can offer, to be priced at an unbelievable $99.95 . this is a great time to get your work noticed by tons of new people, so let's bring out the big guns!
