This is a one man show of early Destructionist, Anti-Art, Un-Pop, Pre-Lowbrow, Punk Dada by Eadweard r. York. This work was first show in storefront windows, punk shows, and later at numerous experimental galleries, art centers, and museums as "Walk -Up Art Exhibitions For The People on The Street".
When this work was first show in the early 80's, it was usually show as one giant collage filling an entire room from floor to ceiling. The spaces would always be chosen with a window, so that the people on the streets would have access to art. Eadweard was way ahead of his time. No one in the art world exhibited their art like this at the time, it was not hip yet. It was crude punk art mixed with a Warholian, Duchamp, Dada weirdness. This will be the first time this work has ever been exhibited in Orange County.
