Jonathan Edelhuber is 22 years old - born, raised, and currently living in Searcy, Arkansas.  As a child, he discovered his passion for drawing and constantly searched for new ways to create art.  At Harding University, where he is studying for his degree in graphic arts, he took oil painting,
drawing, and design classes before falling in love with acrylics and illustration.  He relishes rainy days and quiet late nights, packed away in the back of his studio with a hot cup of coffee and his paints.

Jonathan draws his inspiration in large part from his hometown and childhood experiences both there and abroad - reading picture books as a little boy with his parents, observing the ominous smoke from the factory near his home fast polluting the skies of Searcy, and studying the history of America and the current state of our society.  The blend of these stimuli have resulted
in a poignant and subtle, yet simultaneously blithe, satirical style as he invites us to take a peek at his uniquely fervent opinion on human beings and the world we live in.

Aside from art, Jonathan also enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and reading.  He currently undertakes freelance design work and illustration for several companies and design firms. In December, after he completes his final semester at college, he will be moving to Tennessee with his very-soon-to-be
wife.
