First Thursday Art Walk -- Laguna Beach Galleries stay open until 9 pm (and some times longer) - on the first Thursday of each month.

Cheryl Lommatsch will be at the Endangered Planet Gallery all evening on Aug 6.  Beverages and appetizers will happily be served.

Please come join us -- especially if you care about the Planet and the creatures who live on it.

Cheryl Lommatsch's work, featured in Canary in a Gold Mind, at the Endangered Planet Gallery, is a showcase for 15 sculptural pieces focusing on the metaphor of Birds and their desire to adapt to the environmental challenges that we are all facing at this time.  Her creatures are not comical and "craftsy" but empathetically soulful and skillfully engineered.  They confront the viewer to think about what is happening right now.  The thoughtfulness and craftsmanship of Lommatsch's work is worth the trip to Laguna.
