Title: Homage to Magdelena Abakanowicz
Materials: Plywood, geode, stones, agatized plant stem, epoxy.
This piece pays homage to the great feminist artist, whose colossal fiber artwork was exhibited at the seminal MOCA exhibit "WACK!: Art and the Feminist Revolution." Winner of the Eye Opener Award at this year's Members Exhibit.
