The City of Brea Art Gallery presents For Love or Money, an exhibition that contemplates whether artists pursue a dream or a career, on display August 1 – September 11. The public is invited to attend a free opening reception on Saturday, August 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. with entertainment and refreshments.

For Love or Money features artists who work by day as graphic designers or illustrators, but at night practice their more passionate outlet. For every artist able to turn their creative dreams into a career, there are countless others who never prosper from their art. This exhibit will showcase work from both aspects of the artists’ career, their personal art contrasted with their “for the money” work.
