Artist and musician Exene Cervenka has maintained a practice as a poet for over thirty years, and during that time has published several volumes of collected writings, including "Virtual Unreality," and "A Beer on Every Page." As is the case with her visual art and  her music, Cervenka's poetry is rooted in a keen awareness and appreciation of aspects of 20th Century American life that are rapidly disappearing. In addition to discussing her work in  "Celestial Ash," Cervenka will read selections from her books, new work, and a handful of unpublished poems.
