Synchronicity Space is pleased to present "The Enigmatic Shadow," a group art show focused on the metaphorical and literal expressions of negative space. Negative space is the empty area between representational elements, comprised of shapes that viewers often tend to overlook. In "The Enigmatic Shadow," each artist visually plays on this dichotomy inherent in a representational image. Some artists deal with absolutes, juxtaposing positive and negative forms in such a way that they seemingly pulsate; others tackle the theme metaphorically, exploring the different realms negative space inhabits. They remind us that the role of negative space may not be a black and white proposition; these artists unify opposing forces within a single piece. "The Enigmatic Shadow" guarantees to push negative space far beyond the core fundamentals, utilizing it in ways both meaningful and engaging.
