Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego-Downtown

For this exhibit Adler presents a series of 12 large scale drawings, entitled Director.  The drawings depict a woman filmmaker hired by Adler to direct her in a film.  This role-reversal begs the question who is mirroring who and complicates Adlers' practice of drawing based photography.
