Fresh Paint

Fresh Paint is pleased to announce the opening reception for Over The Edge, a group show incorporating the work of twelve visionary artists unbound by dimensional parameters and traditional concepts. With work ranging from encaustic digital photography and mesh sculptures to figurative silhouettes borne from maps, Over The Edge promises to be Fresh Paint’s boldest exhibition to date. The gallery holds two exhibitions per year; this marks their first show for 2009. The opening reception, which begins at noon on Saturday, May 30^th, coincides with the 4^th Annual Culver City Artwalk, which is free and open to the public (www.culvercity.org).

Fresh Paint is a unique space, integrating all elements of fine art through paintings, works on paper, and sculpture, exhibiting emerging to mid-career to established artists and publishing limited edition prints.  Through collaboration with the interior design community, Fresh Paint creates a viable opportunity for artists to expand their exposure to the public. Operating hours are 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday, or by appointment. The gallery entrance is at the rear of the building, facing Venice Boulevard.
