> DESCRIPTION

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide challenging exhibition and collaborative opportunities for our artist membership, we are pleased to announce: Vs.

Vs. is a special juried group exhibition that offers LAAA artists an opportunity to create non-intuitive collaborative works of art (all media accepted) with another randomly selected LAAA artist. (For instance, a sculptor could be randomly paired with a printmaker to create a unique piece of art).
To further enhance the duality and challenging gestalt of the Vs. concept, 2 distinct jurors of varying aesthetics will then jury the exhibition. (Jurors: TBA).
If you are interested in participating in this project, we are requesting a firm commitment for participation by April 15, 2007 at 5pm.
You will have almost 2 months to complete the project. Completed artwork must be dropped off to Gallery 825 for jurying on Saturday, June 9, or Tuesday, June 12, from 10:30a - 5p.
