Three Great PUPPET SHOWS for ADULTS!

MARSIAN DE LELLIS presents "Growing Up Linda: The Life and Times of Linda Carvel, Heir to the Throne of the Carvel Cake Empire."  Marsian's show uses tabletop puppets, projections and performing objects to tell the tale of the fictional Linda, daughter of a famous ice cream cake mogul.

MIGUEL OLIVARES and Mythic Productions present  "The Enchanting Lummpets Fall in Love."  Miguel and company set their story in the legendary Harlemed Park.  They describe their show as a mix of Punch and Judy, slapstick, Romeo and Juliet and Mr. T's.

AL GUERRERO presents "Puppets from Hell!"  Al's puppets combine elements of Mexican folk art with a decidedly modern, urban sensibility.

Doors open at 8:00pm, shows begin at 9:00.  Free Admission.

The shows are part of the Arroyo Arts Collective's PUPPETS, PUPPETS, PUPPETS! a festival of traditional and experimental puppet shows and related events in multiple venues in Highland Park, Eagle Rock and Cypress Park from May 30 to June 28, 2007.  Free admission.
